Oscar Grinde’s strategy

This strategy was originally used in red/black betting in casinos, and then moved into sports betting. Some bettors use it to play games at the BK. The strategy involves minimizing losses at a distance. With several consecutive losses, bettors keep their cool, because the betting amount does not change when they lose. With a few wins, the betting sum increases, so that the bettor gets the maximum profit during a particular period.

Principles of Oscar Grinde’s strategy

The strategy is based on the following principles:

  • The bankroll is divided so that it is enough for 10 identical steps.
  • If you lose, the betting amount remains unchanged, if you win, it is doubled for the next step.
  • The minimum odds are 2.0.
  • The round ends when the net profit has reached or exceeded the bet size of the first step.

For example, if your betting pot is 5000 ₽, it is divided into 10 equal steps of 500 ₽. The odds are 2.0. Events can develop according to the following algorithm:

  1. Betting size is $500 , losing, bankroll is $4500 ($5000 – $500).
  2. Betting size – $500, winning, bankroll – $5500 ($4500 + ($500 * 2.0)).
  3. Bet – $1000, loss, bankroll – $4500 ($5500 – $1000).
  4. Bet – $1000, lose, bankroll – $3500 ($4500 – $1000).
  5. Bet – $1000, win, bankroll – $5500 ($3500 + ($1000 * 2.0)).
  6. Betting – $2000, winning, bankroll – $9500 ($5500 + ($2000 * 2.0)).

The most important thing when using such a strategy is to stop in time. If you lose a bet, the size of the next one remains unchanged, and after a successful bet, it doubles. When winning three bets one after another, the size of the bet should not be increased, otherwise there is a risk of losing a significant amount of money. when bets are successful three times in a row, the best option is to return to the original size of the bet.

This strategy should not be used for the long term, as odds of 2.0 and above increase the risk of a losing streak. In the short term, the strategy may be successful, but the player must be able to analyse the events.
